Born and raised in Lafayette, LA, David Abraham graduated from Teurlings Catholic High School and the University of Southwest Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette). Upon graduation from USL, David attended The Southern University Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctorate.
As a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Association, the Million Dollar and Multi-million Dollar Advocate Forums and the Trial Lawyers Association, David has solidified his reputation of excellence in the legal community. As a client advocate, David has a fervent passion for helping clients fully understand the complexities of their cases. He works diligently to outline realistic expectations for his clients, ensuring that they are well-informed during the entire legal process.
Outside of his practice, David has a passion for athletics and the outdoors. As a coach and mentor, he led the Acadiana Hoops select basketball team from 1997 to 2012, bringing the team to a state championship. His dedication to the community remains a common theme throughout his daily activities. He and his wife Vickie reside in Lafayette, LA and have a passion for Akita dogs. Together they have raised and shown over 30 dogs in various competitions throughout the country.
